Karen was so great and patient with my boy, who at the time of our shoot was 13.5 years old and recently diagnosed with a degenerative neurological disease and was at the tail end of a vestibular disease flare up (both diseases make it difficult, sometimes, for him to walk on his own). From how quickly she responded to our initial inquiry emails, to how she asked questions to get to know us and our pup Stanley beforehand, to how friendly, fun and professional she was during the shoot! We are beyond impressed with Karen's professionalism, kindness, and patience!! She is very attentive in her emails and ensures she captures her clients needs. She asks key questions to determine what the client is looking for and has a vast knowledge of key areas within Ottawa for natural backdrops. During the photoshoot she comes completely prepared with ideas of where key pictures can be taken as well as gourmet treats/water for the fur baby. She's calm and patient, but also has a keen eye to when a special moment is happening. We will definitely be asking for her services again! Karen was great with our 2 cats, even though one of them is very shy with strangers, she brought catnip and toys to distract them. We had lots of props to choose from. Karen was very professional and patient with the cats and we managed to get the four of us in the same shot. We can't wait to see the photos!
